DWTS’ Jackson Olson claps back at unfair | TV Shows

Jackson Olson is making one factor utterly clear about his upcoming look on Dancing With the Stars, and it is that he doesn’t have an “unfair advantage” when it comes to the competitors.

The Savannah Bananas star, 28, is one of 4 celebrities who have already been confirmed to be taking part on the upcoming thirty fifth season of the dancing competitors show, which is set to air on ABC this fall.

However, while followers shortly dubbed him as the season’s “Robert Irwin” after his casting was announced, the leisure baseball star is hitting back at those who suppose he has an “unfair advantage” because of his expertise on the Georgia-based leisure baseball group.

Taking to TikTok, the star took intention at those he felt he was “already a dancer,” and may have a head start on others competing.

In his video, he pretends to have a dialog with somebody who makes the declare.

Appearing confused after the individual says he has an unfair benefit, he then rolls his eyes and shakes his head–before the video cuts to clips of him performing with the group.

Among the clips are pictures of him spinning, twerking and line dancing on the baseball subject.

He captioned the vieo, “Yeah so the first rehearsal will be interesting.”

In the feedback, a number of followers identified that while he might not suppose he had an avantage, he did clearly have rhythm, which might help, while others identified that his dancing was different from what occurred on the show.

“Plus even if you were a trained dancer ballroom is totally different! Good luck, I can’t wait to watch you on DWTS!” one individual wrote.

“You got rhythm babe, you can do this,” another said, while a third added, “You have potential my friend and we can all see it.”

Olson was confirmed to have joined the forged in May. He is becoming a member of fellow confirmed stars Summer House’s Ciara Miller, Traitors alum Maura Higgins, and Jimmy Kimmel Live’s Guillermo Rodriguez.

The relaxation of the forged is set to be announced on Good Morning America on September 2.

Olson isn’t the only star who has been accused of having an unfair benefit over the years, however, as followers often call out the dance expertise some convey to the show–particularly if they win.

This has included Season 31 winner Charli D’Amelio, Season 32 Bachelorette star Charity Lawson, numerous ice skaters, and even Season 34 rivals Hilaria Baldwin and Whitney Leavitt, both of whom had dance backgrounds.

While some have gone on to win or turn out to be front-runners when they’ve had some past expertise, the Mirrorball has largely gone to stars with no specific dance expertise in the past.

Those stars, who turned front-runners due to other causes, including having large fan bases, included Season 34 winner Robert Irwin, Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei, Season 27’s Bobby Bones, and more.
