Dancing With the Stars Season 34 runner-up Alix Earle acquired emotional after finally breaking her silence over her painful break up from NFL star Braxton Berrios.

“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she said. “We have been doing long distance since, basically, June, and we haven’t got to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”
Earle notably moved in with Barrios in Miami, Florida, in the Spring, but he later signed with the Houston Texans, which pressured him to relocate.
She then shared that she grew to become “really motivated” to live in Los Angeles while competing on Dancing with the Stars, which brought about her to take into account transferring there completely and added extra strife brought about by distance.
“I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place. A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now,” she added. “I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”

She also shared that it was “difficult” because he was her “best friend” and it felt as if they had been just on “two different paths,” before she told followers to stop being “mean” to him.
She also insisted that the breakup had nothing to do with Berrios lacking her Dancing With the Stars performances due to his NFL schedule.
“I think I ultimately just wanted to go with trusting my feelings,” she said. “This has just been really hard…it’s not drama. It’s not because he did anything wrong or I did anything wrong. It just didn’t really feel like it was working out, in the moment.”
Her video comes after Berrios seemingly tried to make mild of the break up in an Instagram post earlier in the week, when he posted a sequence of pictures of himself and captioned it, “What did I miss?”
However, he confronted adverse feedback about not being in LA for Earle’s DWTS run, with one particular person writing “Every single performance of alixs,” forcing him to reply and write, “I would’ve been at every one if I could’ve, sadly I can’t travel like that in-season.”
Following her post, Earle acquired optimistic feedback from many, including others concerned with Dancing With the Stars.
