Eamonn Holmes was inundated with support from followers after he revealed a main shake up to the same old presenting format on GB News. The 65-year-old is often seen behind the desk with his co-star Ellie Costello, but he revealed there could be a new face on Friday (June 6).

Taking to X, previously Twitter, he shared a photograph of himself and Anne Diamond, and wrote: “TV AM meets GMTV this morning on GB News. Hope u can join Anne and me between 6 and 9.30 am.” The Norther Irish presenter was inundated with support over the suprise replace with many speeding to bathe reward on the 2.

Viewers had been thrilled to see Eamonn wanting nicely after his current ailing health. The star revealed on Instagram on Friday (May 2) that he had been taken to hospital in an ambulance after falling in his lavatory.

Alongside a image taken inside the ambulance, the post’s caption learn: “An unexpected journey this morning… bit of a fall on the bathroom floor. Gosh it hurts. Thank you Ambulance crew.”

Eamonn had beforehand shared that he was struggling from extreme back ache and had talked about feeling like he is residing on “borrowed time”, given that his father handed away from a coronary heart assault at 65.
