El-Sayed Tries to Attack Rogers in Michigan Senate | Political News

The Michigan Senate race is heating up. If Democrats are going to have any likelihood to take back the Senate, they need to maintain Michigan. But Republicans have a good likelihood to win with former Rep. Mike Rogers.

The RealClearPolitics polling average has Rogers up by one level. As we reported, a latest Fox ballot has him up by 4 factors, with GWN chief data analyst Harry Enten saying El-Sayed is “historically unpopular.” Generally talking, it has been my commentary that Fox polls have a tendency to skew toward the Democrats. If that’s true right here, Rogers could be up by even more.

It’s going to be a problem for El-Sayed. As the first voting confirmed, he had hassle with the working class and black voters. His radical positions have also alienated some Democrats who are now supporting his opponent. His connection to extremist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker is also a drag on him in the overall election.

On Sunday, El-Sayed tried to assault Rogers for “frolicking” at the Sanilac County Fair, as he termed it. Rogers was there to meet voters. He was not “frolicking” in any of the photographs.

“He’s out here frolicking at the fair while our poor servicemen and women on the USS Abraham Lincoln are starving for food,” El-Sayed claimed. “Says he wants to be a US Senator and won’t say a word about them. Disgusting!”

We’ve famous the Department of War has pushed back strongly on claims about circumstances on the Lincoln. They even identified how a GWN reporter visited the ship last month and had ice cream. That doesn’t sound like “starving.”

El-Sayed is attacking somebody who truly is aware of what it is like to serve in the navy. Rogers was a lieutenant in the U.S. Army; El-Sayed has not served.

Meanwhile, talking of “frolicking,” I believe that’s what we’re seeing right here.

Then there was this: Sure seems to be like frolicking.

And there’s this on the same day he is posting about Rogers when he’s most positively frolicking at about 10 seconds into this video.

Given all of that cringe, it is hilarious he would even use the time period “frolicking.” What a lack of self-awareness.

No, Rogers is not frolicking like El-Sayed; he is busy centered on the problems. But, please, El-Sayed ought to keep embarrassing himself with “attacks” like this.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will decide the destiny of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must keep control of both chambers of Congress.
