Emmerdale Sam Dingle star supported co-stars after | UK News


Emmerdale star James Hooton has been showered with assist from his fellow forged members as he celebrated marking a large milestone on the ITV cleaning soap.

The actor, 51, first graced the Dales as Sam Dingle in 1995 and rapidly turned a fan favorite as half of the notorious household.

James took a transient hiatus from the cleaning soap in 1998, solely to return in 2000 and stay a fixed presence ever since.

Now, the cleaning soap star has marked his thirtieth anniversary on the cleaning soap. Taking to Instagram, James shared a selfie as he mirrored on his first scene within the Dales back in 1995.

He wrote: “Today marks my 30th anniversary on Emmerdale! Jan10th 1995 was my first scene in Esholt village with Steve Halliwell (Zak) and Paul Loughran (Butch). Got myself a nice light hat to celebrate!”
