Valerie Mahaffey, the Emmy-winning actress best recognized for her roles in “Northern Exposure,” “Big Sky” and “Young Sheldon,” has died at 71.
Mahaffey died Friday following a short battle with cancer, her husband, Joseph Kell, mentioned in a assertion.
