Chris Eubank Jr has been spotted at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, just days after sharing a regarding health update. The boxer took to X on Tuesday to post a clip of himself in a hospital mattress, related to numerous wires and machines.

Alongside the footage, he wrote: “I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues over the last year and yeah it all finally caught up to me last month. I will not box again until I’m back to 100 per cent and I don’t know when that will be, but one things for certain… For the fans that have supported me through thick and thin, I will do everything in my power to make sure that one day, the old me makes a big comeback.”

However, it now appears the British boxing star is back on his ft, as he was seen in the pitlane of the Abu Dhabi GP. Eubank Jr donned a tan Gucci jacket, washed black denim denims and a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers as he posed for photographers before the racing started.

It comes just weeks after the 36-year-old suffered a factors defeat to Conor Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The sons of Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn ran back a household rivalry courting back to the Nineteen Nineties back in April when they clashed in the capital.

On that night, Eubank Jr claimed a unanimous choice victory against Benn following a masterful show under the intense lights. The 28-year-old is only 12 factors behind Norris as they head into Sunday’s race. If he secures a victory in Abu Dhabi and Norris ends up fourth or below, it will be ample for him to clinch the title outright.
