Eurovision 2025 complete running order announced | TV Shows

Eurovision 2025’s grand final is kicking off, and this year, fans in the United States can tune in on NBC’s streaming platform Peacock.

Two intense semi-finals have taken place this week, narrowing down the competition to the final 20 contenders. They join the Big Five countries and reigning champions Switzerland, who are also hosting the event in Basel, in a quest for European supremacy.

The official running order has been unveiled, with Norway’s Kyle Alessandro kicking off the festivities with his performance of Lighter.

After landing in 18th place last year and 25th in 2023, Remember Monday is aiming to replicate the success of 2022 when Sam Ryder clinched second place.

Viewers will have to stay tuned until later in the evening to catch the bookmakers’ favorite, KAJ from Sweden, who is 23rd in the lineup.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Eurovision without a dash of controversy. Despite ongoing calls for Israel’s exclusion due to protests over the war in Gaza, and a letter signed by 70 former Eurovision stars urging contest officials to bar them amid the continuing Gaza conflict, Israel’s Yuval Raphael made it to the final via public vote.

The vocalist, a survivor of the tragic Nova music festival massacre on October 7, will be the fourth performer to grace the stage with the ballad “New Day Will Rise,” a song imbued with a “message of optimism”.

There have been bans in the past. In 2021, Belarus was suspended due to a politically charged song, and Russia was excluded the following year amid the Ukraine conflict.

When can you catch the Eurovision 2025 song contest on TV?

You can tune into tonight’s Eurovision Song Contest on BBC 1 and BBC iPlayer starting at 8pm, with Graham Norton as your host.

The BBC has announced that Doctor Who actor Ncuti Gatwa has officially stepped down from his role as the United Kingdom’s Eurovision 2025 spokesperson due to “unforeseen circumstances” Pop star, disco kitchen queen, and radio presenter Sophie Ellis-Bextor will now step into his shoes.
