‘Excellent period drama adaptation of Shakespeare now | UK News

Fans of period dramas can’t afford to miss out on this Shakespeare adaptation of one of the Bard’s best-loved performs that’s now streaming on Prime Video.

This comes after others have loved a “masterpiece” historic drama, a homicide thriller collection from an acclaimed creator, and a period crime drama. 

The movie was launched in 1995 and took its cue from a haunting story, with many praising the piece on IMDb. One person gave a glowing 10/10 review and described the play as their “favourite” Shakespeare story because it was so “fascinating” and hailed this adaptation as “absolutely brilliant”.

They went on to say how the central leads “just capture the story so well and understood its darkness”. The reviewer concluded: “This is a terrific movie, great acting, good sets, and good direction, this is what Shakespeare meant when he wrote the story.”
