Fans react to Khloe and Lamars heartfelt reunion | TV Shows

The sixth season of The Kardashians kicked off with a captivating start as Disney+ dropped the first episode on February 6.

In the premiere, viewers watched an emotional reunion between Khloe Kardashian and her ex-husband Lamar Odom, marking their first encounter in several years.

During the episode, Khloe’s confidante Malika Haqq disclosed an unplanned meeting with Lamar at the Super Bowl, which led Khloe to admit she still had some of his belongings.

With Malika facilitating, Khloe and Lamar met up to revisit their past together, stirring up tender memories alongside flashbacks of their earlier blissful moments.

Emotion-struck fans hurried to Reddit, sharing their heartfelt reactions. One user posted: “The Khloe and Lamar flashbacks made me emotional af”, reports the Mirror.

Another fan admitted: “The Khloe and Lamar flashbacks had me teary-eyed! I forgot how long they were actually together and how in love they were.”

A third viewer commented pensively: “The Lamar reunion made me do sad and…I dunno. I feel like they shouldn’t have filmed it, much as I want to see it.”

An energized fan exclaimed: “EPISODE WAS TEA. It was actually good. I’m shocked. I’m sat and tuned in. The Khloe and Lamar scene made me emotional af. I felt for him and her. Khloe did a lot for him. She’s such a queen.”

Additionally, a fifth viewer shared a personal reaction: “I just watched. Did anybody cry for Lamar? I didn’t think I would, but him reliving his pain felt real. Like remembering being rock bottom.”

Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband in 2013, four years after their 2009 wedding; the split was finalized in 2015. In a same episode, Kris Jenner, the family matriarch, disclosed an unexpected link to the notorious Menendez brothers.

The brothers, Lyle and Erik Menendez, were found guilty of murdering their parents in their Beverly Hills mansion in 1989. During a conversation with Kim following a photoshoot with Kris and her daughters Kourtney and Kendall, Kim shared news from Ryan Murphy: “Ryan Murphy told me that his new series, like how he did Dahmer, is now gonna be on the Menendez brothers.”

Kris, taken aback, revealed her past connection to the siblings: “Oh, my God. You know I knew those guys in the ’80s. I knew the kids because Erik used to come over and play tennis with your dad on the weekends.”
