A former Bachelorette star is sharing that her financial scenario has taken a hit in the last 12 months due to a high-profile divorce–and she’s coming close to dropping the majority of her financial savings as a consequence.

DeAnna Pappas, who starred as the lead during season 4 of The Bachelorette on ABC in 2008 had a public cut up from winner Jesse Csincsak after the show ended. She went on to marry Stephen Stagliano, the dual brother of Season 5 Bachelorette contestant Michael Stagliano, with whom she shares a daughter, Addison Marie, and a son, Austin Michael. The pair announced their cut up in 2023.

While far from the only Bachelorette lead to head to divorce court, as another lead from later on went through current divorce proceedings as nicely, it seems the drawn-out course of with her ex-husband has drained Pappas’ sources.

The pair finalized their divorce settlement in 2024, but have remained in court over varied financial points since then.

Now, according to GWN, Pappas has filed new docs as nicely, sharing she has resorted to dwelling off her financial savings since dropping her job in 2025.

According to the web site, she filed an income and expense declaration, claiming an average month-to-month income of $2,618 from her work as a flight attendant, but her work is inconsistent. She claimed she misplaced her job in June 2025 due to the publicity around the divorce proceedings and has confronted a “slow process re-entering my field” and acquiring “consistent contract work.”

She also shared on the paperwork that she earned $0 from her podcast last month and receives $1,500 per month from Stagliano as spousal assist.

In complete, she says she has month-to-month bills of around $9,989, which embrace $4,500 in rent, $700 in groceries, and $23k in credit card debt.

She says she has been dwelling off her financial savings, which decreased by roughly $60,000 since October 2025, and that she has around $35K remaining in financial savings and another $20K in personal property.

Her claims come shortly after she claimed her ex hid taking $109k out of his retirement account before giving her the half she was awarded in their divorce, and she requested he pay her the six-figure sum plus curiosity.

Stagliano denied deliberately concealing any property, saying the withdrawal was due to substantial financial hardship after he also misplaced his job.

“The withdrawals I made from the retirement rollover accounts were used primarily for living expenses, support obligations, and business operational expenses during a period of severe financial hardship after leaving Riot Games,” he said in response to her submitting. “At the time of these withdrawals, I did not believe nor was I aware that I was violating the Court’s orders or acting improperly.”

“I am currently in substantial financial distress. I do not possess the financial ability to pay the punitive sanctions and attorney’s fees requested.”
