Former US Special Operations Commander Shares

In the aftermath of Saturday’s taking pictures in Minneapolis that left anti-ICE rebel Alex Pretti lifeless, an clearly AI-generated picture purporting to clearly show Pretti being executed by Border Patrol brokers is making the rounds on social media. That alone is not shocking; it occurs any time there’s a major event. What’s shocking is the identification of one of the people sharing it as if it is real and utilizing it for anti-government propaganda functions.

Meet Gen. Raymond A. “Tony” Thomas III, retired, who served as commander of the US Special Operations Command from 2016 to 2019.

While the decision of the picture is sort of good – a lot better than the grainy telephone videos going around – the decision also permits us to see that the agent kneeling would not have a head, and that one of his legs appears a little bionic. Thomas shared the picture in response to posts from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, former US Navy Reserve intelligence officer Jack Posobiec, Attorney General Pam Bondi, enterprise capitalist Keith Rabois, and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. Why would he do this?

Let’s study a bit more about Gen. Thomas.

Before his time at USSOCOM, Thomas served as Commander, Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he had beforehand served as a Squadron Commander for the first Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, or Delta Force. He is now a enterprise companion at Lux Capital, alongside James Woolsey, former CIA Director.

Woolsey and Thomas also have the CIA in common; Thomas was the Associate Director for Military Affairs at the CIA from 2013-14.

Even though it has been introduced to Thomas’ consideration that this picture is a faux, he hasn’t moved to delete it, and distinguished leftists are sharing it as if it is real – for their own propaganda functions, of course.

Back to Thomas. He hasn’t been overtly anti-Trump in his X posts before this; he is highlighted collaborations between firms he is tied to through Lux Capital and the Pentagon. Of course, that was before the Pentagon’s latest announcement of adjustments in contracting. Perhaps his change of coronary heart is tied to that?

While there’s no manner to say exactly why Thomas felt a need to immediately blast this faux and extraordinarily inflammatory image around social media, it is clear that, at a minimal, there’s a wide-ranging psyop being run by people tied to the CIA. Beware.
