Fox fans say Trump talking about himself in fat | TV Shows

Donald Trump was ridiculed after ranting about his “fat friend,” with Fox News viewers joking he was “referring to himself in the 3rd person.”

The president, 80, took the stage at a marketing campaign rally in Georgia on Wednesday, July 22, where he laid out his financial agenda and launched a sequence of assaults against the Democrats. During the tackle, which was broadcast live on Fox News, Trump also touched on the rising price of weight loss medication.

He declared, “The fat drug, it cost, think of it,” drawing laughter from the gang before urgent on, “Think of it, it price $1,400 in New York and in London it was $87.” As Trump continued his speech, he made an awkward gaffe.

The president added, “I told you, I have a friend of mine, he’s fat as, you never saw a guy like this. He’s a very smart guy. Scott knows him very well. He’s a great businessman, but highly neurotic. Always eating, eating. He does two things, he eats and he makes deals.

“And the eating, he isn’t good at, other than amount. But the making offers he is superb. But he called me up, he goes, ‘You know, I buy this fat drug,’ and now he calls me Mr President, he used to call me Donny.”

Trump’s friend reportedly told him, “Donny, I buy this fat drug and in New York I pay $1,400 and in London I just paid $87!” Trump fired back, “You’re so wealthy, how do you even know?” His friend conceded, “I do not know, my people told me that.”

Trump went on during the rally, “And so he said, ‘I went out and I had a verify and it was from the same actual company, the same plant. It was truly made in the United States, it was the same every part.’

“He said, ‘What the hell kind of a deal? I’m paying, like, almost 10 times as much.’ I said, ‘That’s the system,’ but it really awoke in me and I said, ‘I gotta do something about this because he’s right.'”

A section from the Fox News program was posted on X, with viewers shortly ridiculing the president. One viewer requested, “Is he talking about himself again?!?”

Another repeated, “He’s talking about himself,” while a third Fox News viewer famous, “So Trump calls out an acquaintance for always eating. Someone should tell Trump that Americans view him as a president who is always lying.”

“Neurotic and fat…. always talking about making deals. Is he talking about himself in the 3rd person again?” one X consumer questioned. Another commenter wrote, “We’re all clear his “good friend” is him, right? Dude ain’t subtle and he sure as s–t ain’t slick.”

Mimicking Trump, a sixth particular person joked, “And my ‘friend’s’ name is… Donald J. Trump. You’ve heard of him?” Another Fox News viewers member noticed, “Referring to himself in the 3rd person again.”

“Trump always did love to describe himself in the third person. I don’t understand how this makes him feel better about himself. But that’s narcissism for you,” another particular person remarked.
