Fox News hosts slammed for glorifying Donald | TV Shows

Viewers of Fox & Friends don’t agree with the thought of Donald Trump deserving a Nobel Peace Prize following the Israel-Hamas peace settlement.

On Fox & Friends, the morning program mentioned the settlement with touring co-host, Steve Doocy, on Thursday, October 9. Steve was praising Donald Trump and saying that if the deal goes down as hoped, then “Trump will go down in history for having broker the biggest peace deal in this history of the Middle East.” Brian Kilmeade, sitting by his other co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt, claimed that Israelis and Palestinians had been chanting, “Nobel Peace Prize,” for Trump. Steve nodded and agreed with the supposed chant.

But not everybody felt the same approach, as people took to X previously Twitter, to share their ideas about how the Republican President didn’t deserve the dignity of a Nobel Peace Prize. They famous the actions he has executed in America and the shortage of peace he has introduced to the nation.

“Wow, glorifying a man whose legacy is chaos and division as a ‘peace broker’? Nobel Peace Prize for Trump? The world must be upside down—praise for theatrics over actual diplomacy. Absolute insanity,” a particular person said, under Fox & Friends’ clip of Steve.

The matter also got here up on Twitter in Lawrence’s dialog with Republican Congressman Brian Mast, and he declared that the Nobel Prize board ought to give him the award. There had been a collection of feedback that also challenged his assertion.

An individual said, “Trump is ordering troops to invade BLUE American cities, having his masked ICE thugs grab law-abiding citizens off the streets and detain them, threatening American Governors and Mayors of being arrested for no reason. So no, he is NOT a peace president.”

Another particular person said, referring to when former President Ronald Reagan called Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin to stop his bombing of Beirut, Lebanon in 1982, “This is just such utter BS. Trump could have ended the war on his first day in office by calling up Netanyahu and making him end the war. Just like Ronald Reagan called up the Israeli Prime Minister back in the day and made him stop that war within 20 minutes of the phone call.

A fourth said, “Trump doesn’t deserve the Nobel Peace Prize, his time period is marked by threats, division, and self-interest, not lasting peace or unity, so no f—ing approach.”

Trump has made it no secret that he wants the Nobel Peace Prize. His claimed on Wednesday, October 8, that he deserves the award due to him “settling” several wars. As for if he doesn’t, last week he said, “it’ll be a big insult to our nation, I’ll inform you that.”

The recipient for this year’s honor will be annouced on Friday, October 10 in Oslo, Norway. According to the Nobel Peace Prize website, there’s a total of 338 candidates.

Many peace studies and historians of the prize such as Øivind Stenersen, have shared insight into the matter and don’t think Trump will be awarded. Øivind, an author of a 2014 book about the prize, said to USA TODAY , “Multilateral diplomacy, strengthening democracy, human rights, climate insurance policies, a better organized world − these are the issues the Nobel committee seems for, based on Alfred Nobel’s beliefs. I believe Trump’s candidacy seems very weak.”

Nina Graeger, the director of the Peace Research Institute Oslo, had said that Trump can get some credit for in his attempts in stopping the wars in Gaza and Ukraine but his other actions call into question about peace.

“He has withdrawn the U.S. from the World Health Organization and the Paris Accord on climate. He has initiated a commerce battle on mates and allies. He’s said he desires to take Greenland from Denmark, a NATO ally. He has also licensed assaults on vessels off the coast of Venezuela that might finally quantity to being a breach of worldwide law,” she said
