Fox News issues huge blow to Trump as show gets | TV Shows

News community Fox News was halted for breaking news of former Vice President Dick Cheney’s death at age 84 on Tuesday morning, in what will certainly be a huge blow to President Donald Trump.

During the Tuesday, Nov. 4, episode of Fox & Friends, co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, and Lawrence Jones announced to viewers that Cheney had handed away. 

Earhardt said, “This is a Fox News alert. We have just learned, as Carly was talking, that Dick Cheney has died. We’re learning more information. As we do, we’ll continue to pass that along to you, of course.”

She added, “We just literally got this information a few seconds ago.”

Kilmeade explained that Cheney was Chief of Staff under former President Gerald Ford, former Secretary of Defense under former President George H. W. Bush, and went on to be Vice President for two phrases with former President George W. Bush.

The co-host added that Cheney was thought of the “conservative’s conservative,” and a “very hard-liner, someone extremely competent, and someone who dealt with heart issues in his 30s and has dealt with that his entire life.”

Cheney died Monday evening due to issues of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease, his household said in a assertion.

“For decades, Dick Cheney served our nation, including as White House Chief of Staff, Wyoming’s Congressman, Secretary of Defense, and Vice President of the United States,” the assertion said.

“Dick Cheney was a great and good man who taught his children and grandchildren to love our country, and to live lives of courage, honor, love, kindness, and fly fishing. We are grateful beyond measure for all Dick Cheney did for our country.

“And we’re blessed past measure to have beloved and been beloved by this noble giant of a man.”

In the comments section of Fox News’ post about the breaking news alert on X, formerly Twitter, many commented that Cheney’s death was the “end of an period.”

However, a third pointed out, “Nobody beloved struggle like this man did,” which is why the politician’s passing with be a blow for President Donald Trump.

Yet another fumed at Fox News, “REALLY is this all Fox is now going to focus on today? Chaney [sic] is not as beloved as you appear to assume he was, particularly after what his daughter tried to do to Pres Trump and he never spoke out against it. According to AP, Cheney was the chief working officer of W. Bush’s presidency and had a hand in implementing choices most important to him and the president.
