Fox News Jesse Watters interrupts program for | TV Shows

Fox News host Jesse Watters broke into his Friday show with a breaking news update on a potential deal between the United States and Iran, saying a senior White House official told the community that Iran had agreed to the basic phrases.

Watters said officers have been “75-85% confident” the Iran deal might be signed in the next few days.

The potential deal comes as the U.S. navy continues to patrol the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for oil and gasoline shipments.

U.S. Central Command said Friday night time that American forces had stopped a number of assault drones aimed at industrial ships in the world.

“U.S. forces have downed all of them in recent hours as traffic flow through the strait continues unimpeded,” U.S. Central

Command said in an X post.

“The international trade corridor remains open for transit.”

Earlier Friday, President Donald Trump warned Iran on Truth Social not to assault ships transferring through the Strait.

“They’d better get their act together, and FAST!” Trump wrote.

Watters said the settlement might reopen the strait immediately and end Iran’s blockade if the waters stay calm. He also said the deal would ban any tolls on ships passing through the strait.

The greatest half of the deal, Watters said, includes Iran’s enriched uranium.

He said Iran had agreed in precept to destroy and take away the uranium under supervision from the United States and the

International Atomic Energy Agency.

Watters said Iran wouldn’t get sanctions aid until the uranium was out of the nation.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Iranian state media that the first settlement might be signed remotely in the approaching days.

“Once this memorandum of understanding is signed by both parties, it will be announced, and that will be it,” Aragchi said.

Araghchi said the main points of Iran’s nuclear program can be labored out after the memorandum of understanding, or letter of intent, is signed.

He said the next spherical of talks might last 60 days and might be prolonged if needed.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also said Friday that progress had been made, writing that “a final, agreed-upon text” had been reached.
