Fox News mocked as Trump makes surprising U-turn | TV Shows

Fox News viewers had been shocked that the community contradicted the president for once.

Donald Trump met with the mayor-elect of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, at the White House on November 21. Known for their differing political beliefs, Mamdani said that his crew reached out to Trump to talk about what’s best for the town of New York and deliberate to handle affordability. He said in a press convention the day before the assembly, “I have many disagreements with the president, and I believe that we should be relentless and pursue all avenues and all meetings that could make our city affordable for every single New Yorker.

“I intend to make it clear to President Trump that I’ll work with him on any agenda that advantages New Yorkers,” Mamdani continued.

Before their meeting, Fox News hosts were slamming the mayor for his previous sentiments, with a few stemming from what he has said about Trump.

Fans were amused by the switch in content once Trump took the screen with his praise. During the Friday meeting, the president began, “We just had a great assembly, a actually good, very productive assembly. We have one factor in common. We need this metropolis of ours that we love to do very nicely.”

He went on to applaud the mayor on his “unimaginable race.” Trump said, “I needed to congratulate the mayor. He actually ran an unimaginable race against a lot of sensible people, beginning with the early primaries against some very powerful people, very sensible people. He beat them and he beat them simply.

“I congratulated him and we talked about some things,” he added. “I think you’re going to have hopefully a really great mayor.

“The better he does, the happier I’m. There is no distinction in social gathering. There is no distinction in something.

“We’re going to be helping him to make everybody’s dream come true: having a strong and very safe New York,” he concluded.

After his introduction, followers ran to X with their reactions, with one saying, “Prior to the start of this meeting, Fox News was running an entire segment on the dangers of Mamdani. Just for Trump to start it off by saying how great of a meeting they just had and and all of their shared values.lol, lmao.”

Another added, “It was a love fest. Fox News will need a new script.”

A 3rd chimed in, “It’s insane HE’S DEFENDING HIM AGAINST ATTACKS FROM FOX NEWS!! This is gold!! Republicans can’t even mount an attack tying him to the national Democratic Party because their own boss defended him IN FRONT OF TELEVISION CAMERAS.”

Before the assembly, Trump spoke to Brian Kilmeade from Fox News about his predictions, saying he believes it could be “quite civil” despite the 2’s differing political beliefs.

In a 60 Minutes interview, Trump said he would endorse Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced governor of New York, who was Mamdani’s largest competitor in the mayoral race. On Election Day, Mamdani said he would “Trump-proof” the town, and after he received, the mayor-elect addressed Trump in his speech and told him to “turn the volume up” so he may hear him better.

Trump appeared not to perceive Mamdani as he later told Kilmeade, “I don’t know exactly what he means by ‘turn the volume up’ … he has to be careful when he says that to me.”
