Fox News shares Illinois governors stark warning | TV Shows
Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is continuous to stand up to the Trump administration and has issued a warning to the White House if they proceed with actions to invade Chicago.
Over the past few weeks Donald Trump has been calling the Windy City the whole lot under the solar from a “disaster” to a “killing hole,” main him to reveal plans to deploy National Guard troops into the town.
During a press convention, the U.S, president declared, “We’re going in. I did not say when, we’re going in.”
During the Sept. 5 broadcast of Fox & Friends, the hosts shared the governor’s response to Donald Trump’s plans.
Pritzker said, “We’re going to immediately go to court if the national guard or other military troops are sent to deploy to the city of Chicago. Immediately go to court.’
“So that’s going to be our first line of defense is getting a court to issue a TRO (temporary restraining order) or other injunction against that activity,” he added.
“The future of our democracy, the future of America is on the line,” the governor concluded.
Just last week, Pritzker pleaded, “Mr. President, do not come to Chicago.”
“Hopefully rational voices, if they are any left in the White House or Pentagon, will prevail in the coming days,” Pritzker wished. “If not, we are going to face an unprecedented and difficult time ahead.”
The governor says if Trump would transfer ahead with this attempt, he provides his full assist to protestors as long as they “do it peacefully.”
Not only is he leaving it up to the people of Illinois to take care of the matter, his group is also planning a course of motion.
“The state of Illinois is ready to stand against this military deployment with every peaceful tool we have,” he revealed. “We will see the Trump administration in court.”

“If you hurt my people, nothing will stop me, not time or political circumstance, from making sure you face justice under our constitutional rule of law,” Pritzker lastly said.
As a response to Pritzker’s assertion, Trump said, “We’re going to do it anyway.”
“We have the right to do it because I have an obligation to protect this country,” he explained.
The dispute between Pritzker and Trump began a few weeks ago when the president deployed federal agents and the National Guard across Washington, D.C. due to the Department of Government Efficiency’s former employee Edward Coristine being left bloodied from a local carjacking.
“We’re not playing games,” Trump said. “We’re going to make it safe. And we’re going to then go on to other places.”
“I think Chicago will be our next [stop] and then we’ll help with New York,” he added.
