Celebrated director Guillermo Del Toro’s epic take on Frankenstein, which has been tailored from Mary Shelley’s unique 1818 novel, is now accessible to stream on Netflix. Frankenstein started a restricted theatrical release on October 17, 2025, and has already opened to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

A traditional of the gothic style, Frankenstein is widely thought-about to be the first ever science fiction novel and tells the story of a self-centred inventor who creates a new lifeform out of different physique elements from numerous corpses.

The synopsis for 2025’s Frankenstein reads: “A brilliant but egotistical scientist brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.”

The film boasts a star-studded cast, with actors from large movies like Dune, All Quiet on the Western Front and Harry Potter. TV followers will also recognise the cast from reveals like Euphoria, Game of Thrones and The Witcher.

Without additional ado, let’s take a nearer look at the cast of Netflix’s Frankenstein and where you will have seen them before.
