Funniest Man in Congress Cracks Me Up With Another | Political News

I wrote earlier in July about how I obtained a fundraising e-mail from Louisiana GOP Sen. John Kennedy—the type of e-mail for which I often hit “delete” before I even end studying the subject line—but one thing about his caught my eye. I learn it and discovered myself laughing out loud.

NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is “like Karl Marx at a Drag Show,” he wrote in that one.

He was back at it Saturday as his newest communication blasted a number of of probably the most odious officers you’ll ever come across, former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA head John Brennan. The Diabolical Duo is now being formally investigated by the Department of Justice for fabricating the Russiagate hoax in an attempt to convey down Donald Trump.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard added fuel to that fire Friday when she made a felony referral to the DOJ and submitted paperwork that she says show quite a few members of former President Barack Obama’s national security group had been guilty of “treasonous conspiracy” in trying to thwart President Trump in 2016.

Kennedy is much less than impressed with Comey and Brennan [emphasis his]:

Folks,

I’ve met James Comey. I’ve met John Brennan. And I’ll be trustworthy with you, I do not suppose either of them might comply with more than six of the Ten Commandments on a good day.

These fellas are about as common as male sample baldness—and about as helpful, too.

I recognize it when a politician is humorous. Scolds like Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and the sleep-inducing House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) are about as humorous as moist fish in your stocking at Christmas, so when Kennedy truly tickles your ribs, it’s refreshing.

He had more for the slippery pair:

But this is the kicker: these are the varieties of “experts” the Left trots out when they’re attempting to let you know what’s good for America.

No thanks.

You and I both know we do not need one other deep state lecture from the oldsters who helped gentle the dumpster fire in the first place.

What we need is sweet, old school common sense. And I’m doing all the things I can in Washington to convey a little more of it to the desk, even if I’ve to drag it in kicking and screaming.

I’ve written before about the distinctly reverse variety of fundraising emails I obtain from the aforementioned Gavin Newsom (why? I sure don’t bear in mind signing up for those), and how they’re often bitter, full of blame, and full gaslighting about his failed extremist report.

Kennedy of course couldn’t resist ending with a doozy:

Because I’ll let you know this, I’d fairly trust a porcupine in a balloon manufacturing facility than let Comey, Brennan, and their buddies run this nation again.

God Bless,
Senator John Kennedy

Thank you, Sen. John Kennedy. Covering politics can typically be a critical, dry business full of unsavory characters, but you proceed to convey a little smile and laughter to the day.

Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and Dan Bongino have introduced a new period to the DOJ and the FBI.
