Furious Tucker Carlson asks Trump how dare you | Political News

Tucker Carlson laid into President Donald Trump over his vulgar early morning Truth Social post on Easter Sunday, thought-about one of the most holy days in the Christian calendar.

Trump posted an aggressive message Sunday morning aimed at Iran amid the continued U.S.-Israeli army operations in the nation, in which TKDEATHTOLL have been killed. Shortly after, he gave a weird Easter speech where he veered off into a rant about Iran over jazz music alongside a bunny mascot after internet hosting youngsters for the White House Easter egg hunt.

Trump’s post reads: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Carlson, a former Trump ally turned critic, gave an over two-hour-long response to the president’s post on his podcast, The Tucker Carlson Show, during an episode launched Monday titled, “Tucker on Trump’s Desecration of Easter and a Warning to Christians Everywhere.”

Giving an impassioned speech, Tucker said to Trump, “How dare you speak that way on Easter morning to the country. Who do you think you are? You’re tweeting out the f— word on Easter morning?”

The former Fox News host went on to argue that Trump’s post was a “mockery” of all faiths, including not only Islam but also Christianity.

“You’re mocking the religion of Iran. Ok, if you seek a religious war, that’s a good idea,” Carlson argued, including that the U.S.
isn’t a theocracy” and therefore should “not go to battle with other theocracies to discover out which theocracy is more efficient.”

However, he expressed concern about the way in which Trump invoked the religious phrase, suggesting that the president views himself as God, as “no first rate individual mocks other people’s religions” or mocks “the concept of religion itself.”

“The message of all religion, at the largest image stage, is the message in our Bible, which is ‘You aren’t God,'” Tucker said. “And only if you suppose you are do you speak this approach. This is a mockery not just of Islam, but it is a mockery of Christianity.”

Going on to further explain his argument that the post was an attack on Christianity, Carlson said, “To ship out a tweet with the f— phrase on Easter morning, promising the homicide of civilians and then saying, ‘Praise be to Allah,’ not explaining any of it. You are mocking me and every other Christian because we’re Christians. We can not assist that.”

Tucker declared, “That is evil. That is an intentional desecration of beauty and truth — which is the definition of evil.”
