Prime Video has finally revealed who will play the legendary Lara Croft in their upcoming Tomb Raider sequence.
The highly-anticipated Prime Video show, created by eliminateing Eve and Fleabag mastermind Phoebe Waller-Bridge, is beginning manufacturing on January 19. 2026.
It has been announced that Sophie Turner, best recognized for enjoying Sansa Stark in all eight seasons of epic fantasy show Game of Thrones, will painting well-known heroine Lara Croft.
Sophie turned a fan favorite on the Sky and HBO show, incomes an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her efficiency in 2019.

Tomb Raider the sequence is based on the enduring Tomb Raider video recreation franchise, which follows the adventures of world-famous archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft.
Previous actresses to take on the live motion position embody Angelina Jolie, who starred in 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and its sequel and Alicia Vikander, who appeared in 2018’s Tomb Raider.

Phoebe will serve as showrunner on the sequence, which is produced by Story Kitchen, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios.
Jonathan Van Tulleken, whose credit embody Shogun and Top Boy, joins as director and government producer and Chad Hodge joins as co-showrunner and government producer.
The official IMDb synopsis for Tomb Raider reads: “Armed with only the raw instincts and physical ability, experience Lara Croft’s intense origin story from a young woman to a hardened survivor.”
Tomb Raider is coming to Prime Video, with a release date yet to be announced.
