Bill Goldberg just can’t appear to let it go, and it obtained the proper WWE response.
The WWE Hall of Famer and WCW legend apparently can’t get over the fact that he no longer holds the kayfabe wrestling profitable streak file — even if he didn’t truly win all those matches, as his streak was grossly inflated for dramatic impact.
What makes it worse is that Goldberg is so salty about it that he either refuses to call Asuka by identify or just refuses to study it, referring to her as “some Japanese girl” and “some girl” the 2 occasions he’s introduced her up in interviews about breaking his 173-0 streak over 461 days. Asuka received more than 230 matches over 914 days without being pinned or submitted.
Goldberg talked about Asuka, whom he has said he holds nothing against, during a chat last week on “Real Talk with Mike Burke”, during which he insinuated WWE had somebody break his streak “on purpose” because of how badly he and WCW used to beat them in the scores during the “Monday Night Wars.”
