Laurie Canter did the surprising by declining a PGA Tour card, which he earned through the DP World Tour, selecting instead to return to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit for the second time in his profession.

Canter is making a comeback to LIV Golf after collaborating in the tour from 2022 to 2024. He later performed on the DP World Tour and secured his PGA Tour card, but has determined to forego this alternative.

In preparation for the 2026 LIV Golf season, Canter has also signed with Majesticks GC. Currently ranked sixtieth in the OWGR, he boasts two DP World Tour victories at the 2024 European Open and the 2025 Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.

He concluded the 2025 season with an spectacular seventh place end on the DP World Tours’ Order of Merit, Race to Dubai, incomes him the PGA Tour card. However, he is chosen to return to LIV.

The Majestcks crew has had a tough experience since LIV Golf kicked off in 2022, ending sixth in the inaugural season before slipping to eleventh place in 2023 and 2024.
