White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of the Presidential Personnel Office, Dan Scavino, made an intriguing post on X that had everybody speaking. It’s not laborious to see why.

That’s one heck of a smackdown — “the full ‘you’re dead to us’ package”? That’s reducing the growth. Sounds like they know precisely who is leaking/telling tales to the media, and Scavino is placing that particular person on blast to let him/her know they know. 

That immediately sparked hypothesis about whom he was speaking about. Who suits the description and has been attacking the Presidential Personnel Office (Scavino’s group that is accountable for political appointments)? One would assume it is also about a current remark/assault. 

The most common guess from people on X was Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 2025 to 2026. But he would not seem to match all the parameters.

Scavino also has an “or” in there, so he could also be referring to more than one particular person: the first with access revoked and the other who needed the positions/ambassadorship. 

People, including media, have been salivating for a title.

However, Dan Scavino was enjoying it close to the vest and wasn’t naming names. 

But people have been loving that he was nuking the particular person/people.
