Greta Thunbergs Latest Environmental Stunt Will

Climate wactivist Greta Thunberg is at it again, and this time it seems she’s grown bored of protesting for Hamas and Gaza and has turned her attentions back to the surroundings once more. In order to spotlight the issues of the oh-so-delicate ecosystem, she determined to hurt it.

And how did she and her comrades do that? They dyed the famed Grand Canal of Venice inexperienced. Certainly, the colour is suitable, because her antics are nauseating:

Thunberg and her fellow activists had been having a snit match over the COP30 environmental summit in Brazil and the failure of attending nations to harm themselves with arbitrary restrictions due to the “climate crisis”:

Climate activist Greta Thunberg, along with 35 other members of the Extinction Rebellion group, had been issued a non permanent ban from Venice on Sunday after they dyed the Grand Canal inexperienced in protest.

The pouring of the inexperienced dye and other stunts carried out by the environmental activists had been in retaliation to Italy’s opposition to including fossil fuel restrictions in a deal agreed to at the COP30 summit on Friday in Brazil. The actions landed the organizer a 48-hour ban from town and a $172 effective.

The Italian model of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg must have been behind the case, because his philosophy is, “watch criminals commit crimes, immediately let them go with a slap on the wrist.” And is a 48-hour ban and a little effective going to deter them in the slightest from persevering with to carry out such damaging acts in the future? Doubt that very a lot.

The sabotage on one of the most well-known and beloved waterways in the world may really do critical hurt:

The vandalism, which risked everlasting harm to the beloved UNESCO World Heritage website, was the environmental activist group’s latest stunt protesting climate change, particularly Italy’s opposition to including restrictions on fossil fuels in a deal struck at the COP30 summit in Brazil on Friday.

The group said it also dumped dye into lakes, canals, rivers and fountains in 10 cities around Italy, which it believes someway will draw consideration to what it calls “the massive effects of climate collapse,” the Washington Examiner reported.

We’ve lined quite a few situations of “climate activism” where crazies block roadways, throw tomato soup at priceless Van Gogh work, glue themselves to the ground, and so a lot more. Every time, I can’t help but assume, what are these low-IQ people hoping to get out of it, besides for maybe a little notoriety?

The “punishment” in this case is laughable. Until authorities start treating vandalism with the harshness that it so woefully deserves, we’ll just keep seeing extremists continue to do it. To them, it’s certainly well worth the $172 effective to see photographs of themselves in the newspaper.  

What precisely they’re reaching for the surroundings is another matter, however. In my estimation, the reply is “a fat lot of nothing.”
