Halle Bailey and Darren Criss to open Hollywood…
The Hollywood Bowl is kicking off its 2026 summer time season with a star-studded Broadway bash led by a Disney princess and a former “Glee” star.
Actress and singer Halle Bailey, best recognized for enjoying Ariel in Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid,” and Tony Award successful actor Darren Criss, who shot to fame as Blaine Anderson on the hit musical collection “Glee,” are among the headliners at the Bowl’s June 20 opening night time.

The duo will be part of forces to anchor “Opening Night at the Bowl: The Best of Broadway,” celebrating the timeless tunes of the American musical. Criss arrives at the Bowl contemporary off a major Broadway resurgence after performing in “Maybe Happy Ending,” and Bailey’s latest romcom “You, Me & Tuscany,” just got here out in April.
But they aren’t the only powerhouses hitting the stage. The lineup consists of “Hamilton” icon and Tony winner Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell whose resume consists of “Kiss Me Kate” and “Ragtime,” plus Broadway royalty Lea Salonga.

The night will probably be performed by Thomas Wilkins and characteristic the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra alongside musicians from the Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, better recognized as YOLA.
Hollywood icon Billy Crystal will host the night’s festivities, lending his signature wit to the high-profile kick-off.
True to Hollywood Bowl custom, the night time gained’t just end with a ultimate curtain call, and the bash will culminate with a fireworks spectacular.
