Panettiere’s body will be released once the household has determined on a funeral home, a rep for the Greenville County Coroner’s Office told The Post.
Authorities are investigating what medication or alcohol could have been in the 36-year-old’s system when she died. There is no evidence to recommend that Panettiere had consumed illicit substances.

The timeline for the toxicology report tends to be eight to 12 weeks, but outcomes can arrive sooner or later, the rep said.
Panettiere, best identified for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” was discovered unresponsive Sunday afternoon by an unidentified “acquaintance,” authorities said without confirming their id.
“No signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death,” coroners said.
“This investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are available for release at this time.”
