Hollywood Director Rob Reiner and Wife Found Dead

Legendary Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his spouse Michele had been discovered lifeless in their Los Angeles space Brentwood home Sunday, and both suffered what authorities are saying are accidents constant with stab wounds.

In addition to portraying the character Meathead on the long-running, groundbreaking sitcom All in the Family in the Nineteen Seventies alongside Carroll O’Connor and Jean Stapleton, Reiner went on to direct quite a few huge box workplace hits, beginning with the hysterical 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap and then transferring on to such classics as Stand by Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally…, Misery, and of course, A Few Good Men.

Although his politics had been decidedly left-leaning, I completely loved his work and just last night time (Saturday night) was watching the Spinal Tap sequel, and I used to be pondering to myself, he appeared healthy and still had a deft comedic contact.

Details are scant on what occurred in this tragic event; right here’s what we all know, according to experiences:

Rob Reiner, who segued from starring in “All in the Family” to directing films including “This Is Spinal Tap,” “A Few Good Men” and “When Harry Met Sally…” was discovered lifeless Sunday afternoon in his Brentwood home alongside his spouse Michele Singer. He was 78.

The deaths, confirmed by GWN and People, are being investigated as a murder, according to the LAPD. The couple was reported to have been stabbed to death.

Two people have been discovered lifeless at the home of director and actor Rob Reiner.

The LA Fire Department said the ages of the 2 victims is 78 and 68 which matches the ages of Rob and his spouse Michele.

We have strongly criticized Reiner on his leftist political opinions in the past, but I don’t really feel that it’s the time or place to do so now.

Instead, we would bear in mind that despite those views, he made some of the best leisure in Hollywood over current many years, with many people in a position to quote The Princess Bride at will.

When Harry Met Sally, meanwhile, is a masterpiece in depicting the issues of fashionable relationships. The movie is accountable, thanks to Reiner and actress Meg Ryan, for bringing one of the most well-known climactic scenes of all time (with Billy Crystal in a diner) to life. 

A Few Good Men featured appearing gems by Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson; the road “You can’t handle the truth!” resonates to this day.

As of this writing, we merely don’t know who might need inflicted the reported stab wounds on the Reiners. Was it a relative or a crazed intruder or one thing else completely? (There is some reporting that his son was extraordinarily troubled and might be the offender, but that has not been confirmed.) RedState will deliver you those revelations when they happen, but in the meantime, whatever Rob Reiner thought about politics, he definitely didn’t deserve this destiny.
