The police are mendacity. Surprise, shock.
As you’re effectively conscious at this level, Donald Trump has despatched an order to federal law enforcement companies and the National Guard to act as local police in Black-led cities across America in order to get “tough on crime”. Predictably, this tyrannical effort has resulted in the harassment and bodily hurt to Black and brown our bodies. New reporting by ABCNews highlights these abuses and the willingness of law enforcement to cowl them up.
On October 17, 2025, 33-year-old Phillip M. Brown of Hyattsville, Maryland was pulled over for a site visitors stop by a Homeland Security Investigations agent and a number of local police officers for an unknown cause. Let the officers inform it, Brown revved his SUV as if he had been going to run over the HSI agent so the agent fired “defensive shots” at vehicle’s windshield. Fortunately, Brown was not injured but he was subsequently arrested and put in a cell for three days with fees of fleeing officers. As soon as he noticed the decide, the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Here’s where this story will get egregiously shady.
Brown’s attorneys say that there was completely no point out of the capturing in the police report that was filed about the arrest despite the fact that there are photographs and video from the scene displaying his bullet-riddled vehicle as seen in the news clip below
A DHS spokesperson tried to pee on our heads and persuade us that it’s rain by trying to justify the capturing:
“This incident is not isolated and reflects a growing and dangerous trend of vehicles being used as weapons against DHS law enforcement,” the DHS spokesperson said in a assertion. “Our officers are facing a 1000% increase in assaults against them including vehicle rammings, terrorist attacks, and even bounties for their murders. The violence must end.”
The only downside with that is, if this officer feared for his life so a lot that the needed to discharge his weapon, why wouldn’t he point out that in the police report? Why go away it out? It makes no sense and one of Brown’s attorneys, Bernadette Armand, described the nonsensical declare as “outrageous”.
“Of course they’re going to say it was justified. What are they going to say? ‘We shot at an unarmed Black man in his car in a routine traffic stop for nothing?’ They’re not going to say that. They’re going to say whatever they have to say to justify their actions,” Armand said.
The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department says that they’re investigating the capturing but wouldn’t remark additional.
