ICE deporting ‘criminal illegal alien’ who hurled | Political News
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said it would deport an alleged “criminal illegal alien” from Finland who is accused of throwing espresso on a child, mom, and the household’s canine.
The incident in which the “illegal alien” is allegedly concerned occurred in Florida. Nina Kristina Jaaskelainen has allegedly been in the nation illegally since 1999. She was arrested in New Smyrna, Florida, earlier this month and charged with battery and home violence prices.
The 54-year-old allegedly threw espresso at the mom, her toddler, and the canine after she turned enraged at them for strolling past her property with their canine off-leash, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. According to a police affidavit, the canine, a Dalmatian, was certainly not on a leash but “following closely alongside (the mother and son),” News 6 Orlando reported.
Jaaskelainen first threw espresso at the canine, sparking an argument during which the Finnish national hurled espresso at the mom and her 11-month-old son, police said. “It was all over my clothes, and all over him,” the victim, Kelly Brisell, told WESH 2 News.
“It was over his eyes, nostril and temple,” she said. “Thank God the espresso wasn’t sizzling.”
The police saw dried coffee on the mother, the child, and the dog when they arrived at the scene. Jaaskelainen “confirmed that she had thrown coffee on (the mother’s) dog and denied intentionally throwing coffee on (the mother) and her baby,” according to the affidavit.
She defended her actions and claimed the unleashed dog was upsetting her own dog. Jaaskelainen had reportedly first entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in April 1999.

In July 1999, she was required to leave the country, but remained in the country illegally for the last 26 years.”For over TWO DECADES, Jaaskelainen has been in our nation illegally, skirting the law without consequence,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a assertion Monday.
“She is now facing charges for battery and domestic violence,” McLaughlin continued. “ICE lodged an arrest detainer to guarantee she will never victimize another American household.
“President Trump and [DHS] Secretary [Kristi] Noem is not going to permit illegal aliens to terrorize American residents.”
