Igor Shesterkin is headed to the injured reserve.
The Rangers’ goaltender went down with a scary-looking injury to his decrease physique during the first period of Monday evening’s loss to the Mammoth.
Shesterkin fell awkwardly as Utah’s J.J. Peterka drove to the web, though it didn’t look as if the Mammoth participant had made a lot contact with the goaltender.
