Ilhan Omar Challenges People to Dig Into Her

The rank corruption of so many members of the House of Representatives is hardly a new development, and over the last a number of years, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has added her chapter to the guide. In a current interview with Business Insider, the controversial Minnesota congresswoman, who has been accused of marrying her brother to skirt immigration legal guidelines, complained about a “coordinated, right-wing disinformation campaign” relating to her funds. 

She then challenged them to test her “public financial statements.” As you may see, that turned out to be a very dangerous thought because the Free Beacon did just that, and what they discovered was damning.

We’ll get to the details in a moment, but it’s important to understand that it’s not just about Omar going from rags to riches in the span of a few months. It’s how she got there that exposes the game so many of these left-wing politicians play, even as they proclaim themselves warriors against a supposed “oligarchy.”

Regardless, it’s really not a good idea to snarkily accuse others of “disinformation” and inform them to go search through your funds if they end up revealing the alternative of what you declare. In this case, Omar is attempting a quite dumb and clear sleight of hand because when you do test her public financial disclosures, you discover that she’s price at least $6 million. The approach she tries to handwave that away is by suggesting her husband’s money isn’t her money. 

I’m not sure how it really works in Somalia, but in America, that’s not how marriage works. Omar is clearly privy to the money her husband, Tim Mynett, brings in, given the lifestyle she and her crazed daughter live. Here’s the factor, though. One of his company’s greatest benefactors is Omar’s marketing campaign. 

I’ve written about this a number of occasions in the past, and apparently, the entire is now up $2.9 million funnelled by Omar into Mynett’s consulting firm. She then went from having an affair with him to marrying him, which, shock, all of a sudden gave her access to all that money.

As the Free Beacon goes on to clarify, once Mynett acquired that big infusion of money from Omar’s marketing campaign, he all of a sudden left the consulting business to start a selection of other companies that have made them hundreds of thousands more.

Notably, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has run a related alleged rip-off, where she’s despatched hundreds of thousands of {dollars} in marketing campaign money to her daughter for “consulting” and other supposed providers. If none of this is illegitimate, it is a enormous loophole in marketing campaign finance law. It appears absurd to me that you may cling 34 felony accounts on a president for what amounted to an argument over a QuickBooks entry, but marketing campaign finance legal guidelines are just high quality with House representatives enriching their households with marketing campaign donations as an apparent approach to funnel money back to themselves. 

In short, yes, Omar may be very wealthy, and she and her paramour-turned-husband gained most of their money seemingly in a single day. Where’s the House Ethics Committee? Where’s the DOJ? Because all of this stinks to high heaven.
