Spin-off show host Kemi Rodgers has lifted the lid on the unseen chaos unfolding while filming the ITV show this 12 months. Speaking to The Sun, the 29-year-old broadcaster admitted that the stormy climate has made filming troublesome in the TV treehouse.
She told the outlet: “We had a really windy day, I mean, this week has just been chaos, but there was a really windy day where the trees were really creaking and I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, the branches are falling down’.
“Then actually, I feel it was exhausting to inform when you are watching at home, but at the very end of the show, pots had been falling over, trees had been falling over. It was so chaotic.
“I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, we’re gonna have a branch fall down on us,’ things like that happen. You have to continue making a TV show, and it’s like, ‘Is everything fine? Are we safe?’ Of course, we are safe, but, you know, you just get panicky.”
