Good Morning Britain presenter Alex Beresford and his wife Imogen have welcomed their first little one. The weatherman shared the joyous information on Instagram, posting a sequence of heartwarming snaps of their new child daughter and praising his wife as “amazing”.

He expressed that Imogen was “taking to motherhood like a duck to water” and prolonged his gratitude to the NHS workers and Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, stating he “couldn’t thank them enough”.

He penned: “After what felt like forever she’s finally here! Camille Beresford arrived safely earlier this week and already has us wrapped around her little finger, already knows what she wants, and we both scream when the human milk machine powers down for a rare break.

“Mrs B was AMAZING and is doing unimaginable, taking to motherhood like a duck to water and I’m having fun with my new position as Chief Nappy Officer.

“Before you ask, yes I’m on the ones and twos, whilst Cruz has gained his protective Big Brother wings.”

He continued: “I really want to shout out the incredible team of midwives and doctors at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, especially Faisa who brought our little angel into this world with such calm and care!

“The NHS is kind of merely superb! Over the final 9 months I noticed workers from all around the world continuously going the additional mile. I can not thanks enough for preserving mum and child secure xxxx #girldadgang #girldadenergy.”

Alex’s showbiz mates were quick to flood the comments with messages of congratulations. ITV News’s Charlene White exclaimed: “Yay! ! ! ! So so completely happy for you guys. Congratulations xx.”

Dancing On Ice sensation Mark Hanretty also joined in, saying: “Huge congratulations and plenty of love!”

The GMB presenter tied the knot with Imogen in a stunning ceremony set in Mallorca back in September 2022, which came three years following his separation from first wife, Natalia Natkaniec.

The ceremony featured his son Cruz whom he shares with Natkaniec who took on double duty as both ring bearer and mini best man.

Reflecting on his and Imogen’s initial meeting in Bristol, Alex revealed: “When we met, it felt as if we might recognized one another for ages. Holding arms and laughing collectively simply got here naturally.

The pair launched into a long-distance romance, spanning London to Bristol, earlier than deciding to get engaged. He informed HELLO!: “I’d been on my own for a while and was ready for a new relationship. But I was adamant I didn’t want to try a dating website. I’m of an age where before social media, you met a girl, took her phone number and called to invite her out.”

He recalled asking a good friend in the event that they knew somebody he may click on with. Their response? “I do – but she’s way too good for you.”
