Jack Smith Collected Conservative Groups Payroll | Political News
The more data that comes to mild on former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Arctic Frost investigation, the more it turns into very obvious that Smith far exceeded any acceptable limits in his gathering of data on varied conservative political teams. The Emmy Award-winning Catherine Herridge, on Friday, revealed that Smith’s crew collected personal payroll data for the Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI), including not just wage but also benefit data.
EXCLUSIVE: New whistleblower reporting via @ChuckGrassley reveals that personal payroll data for the Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) was collected by Jack Smith’s crew. The financial data included CPI staff’ medical, dental, and imaginative and prescient insurance coverage coverage, along with a CPI bank assertion. BACK STORY: In fall 2025, Grassley revealed that CPI was one of 430 teams subpoenaed or focused by Jack Smith as half of the Arctic Frost probe, which laid the inspiration for the Jan. 6 investigation. The new reporting exhibits that Smith’s assortment of data and financial data was broader than beforehand reported. While Smith had a mandate to examine Jan. 6, the gathering of CPI’s February 2023 payroll data seems to transcend the scope. Critics, including Grassley and @SenJudiciaryGOP say Smith’s sweeping data assortment aimed to map your entire Republican community. NOTE: Combining data units from donors, voter registration, lawmakers’ telephone data (not contents), and financial transactions is much more revealing and intrusive. It can reveal a community as effectively as the frequency of the contact and strength of relationship. Smith has defended the general investigation as fact-driven and non-political.

That would not odor like an investigation. What it does odor like I will not repeat right here (this is a family-friendly web site) but what it appears like is a fishing expedition. But then, we knew that, did not we?Â
This raises some severe questions. This investigation was supposedly began to look into alleged makes an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election and the aftermath of that hotly contested switch of energy. But now we’re studying that Smith’s crew went far past the bounds of sanity, with at least 92 Republican organizations and people positioned under Smith’s microscope. We have also discovered that at least eight Republican Senators have been also in the highlight. The Smith crew gathered financial data, telephone data, personal data, and even location data.Â
To what end? This is a guess, but if one have been just sifting through data to discover something questionable, this is just about what it might seem like. Catherine Herridge concludes:

It’s not fact-driven. It’s not non-political. It was a partisan witch hunt, and that’s all it was. Yes, the 2020 election was hotly contested, proper up until the time Joe Biden shuffled into the Oval Office. Yes, there have been most likely some unwise issues said and some unwise actions taken. But nothing justifies the depth to which Jack Smith’s crew began assembling dossiers on Republican politicians, Republican voters, and Republican organizations. And, we’re compelled to apply the “shoe on the other foot rule” right here — and think about, if you’ll, the response from Democrats and the legacy media (but I repeat myself) was the political events in this case reversed.
