Vice President JD Vance hosted the Charlie Kirk Show on Monday following the passing of the conservative activist during a taking pictures at Utah Valley University. Paying tribute to the late commentator, the vice president continued bashing “left-wing extremism,” recounting the story of how he was attacked by a “deranged” “minority” during a current journey to Disneyland with his household.

During the livestream, the vice president continued MAGA’s incendiary rhetoric following Kirk’s death, baselessly blaming Democrats for the taking pictures. The suspect who has been taken into custody in relation to the taking pictures, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, comes from an “all MAGA family,” according to his grandmother.

“We have to speak about this extremely harmful motion of left-wing extremism that has grown up over the last few years, and I imagine, is an element of the explanation why Charlie was killed by an murderer’s bullet,” Vance said on the show, which he hosted from The White House.

As he continued discussing what he deemed is the “radical left,” the vice president recounted a recent trip he took to Disneyland with his wife Usha and his three children. He claims that a group of women attacked the family, telling the kids to “disown your dad.”

“While our side of the aisle certainly had its crazies, it is a statistical fact that most of the lunatics in politics today are proud members of the far left,” Vance said, without evidence.

Kirk was a close ally and friend of President Trump and JD Vance alike, with many crediting the late influencer with helping Republicans massively appeal to young, conservative men.

After the fatal shooting, Vance and the second lady cancelled their appearance in New York City to commemorate the 9/11 attacks to accompany Kirk’s wife, Erika, transport his body from Utah to Arizona, where the household lived, in Air Force Two,

Vance said he realized that Kirk had been shot while he was in a assembly in the West Wing, including that messages had been shared in teams that included the late activist, letting him know they had been praying for his recovery.

“God didn’t answer those prayers, and that’s ok,” Vance wrote in a letter printed after his death. “He had other plans. And now that Charlie is in heaven, I’ll ask him to talk to the big man directly on behalf of his family, his friends, and the country he loved so dearly.”
