Jesse Watters appears to have irritated Fox News viewers with his most latest on-air commentary.
During the June 12 broadcast of The Five, the polarizing Fox News host pissed off audiences as he delivered a monologue about how Donald Trump‘s proposed modifications to Washington, D. C., allegedly characterize a “connection” between Americans and “our European heritage.”
In the phase, Watters addressed the backlash surrounding Donald Trump‘s reflecting pool modifications. The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was initially constructed in 1923 as half of an effort to redesign, increase, and arrange the monumental core of Washington, D.C. Trump has now chosen to modify the monument by portray the pool’s backside in an “American Flag blue” hue.
As the chyron read, “Off the deep end: Dems rage over Trump’s new reflecting pool,” Watters mentioned the renovations and the White House enlargement with viewers, stating, “Listen, the ballroom is an architectural masterpiece. It’s designed in the neo-classical style, which liberals hate because that was the preferred style of the founders, who modeled that style after ancient Greek and Roman architecture.”
The 47-year-old continued, “They took all of their philosophy from the ancient Greeks and Romans, so when you see these soaring columns, and the noble statuary, and the exquisitely designed reflecting pools, when you let that go into disrepair, you’re doing that on purpose.”
Watters: So when Trump builds issues in this type, it is a direct contradiction of their world view. They imagine this is an America in decline. Watters did not end his commentary there, persevering with, “You’re purposefully subverting the greatness of America. The bedrock of Western civilization.”
He then alleged that an unspecified group, presumably liberals and Democrats, “want people to be depressed,” and purportedly don’t need them to have “big, beautiful things.”
“You want them walking around public spaces with grime, and graffiti, and homelessness, and crime,” he asserted, before launching into a attribute flattering monologue about Trump, stories Irish Star.
“So when Trump builds things in this style, it’s a direct contradiction of their worldview,” Watters contended. “He’s saying, ‘Yes, we are a great country, and we have been a great country.'”
Watters then focused the enigmatic “they” once more, claiming the group believes that “America is in decline,” and “America was never great.

“So it is a bodily and visible reminder of our greatness and our connection to our European heritage. That’s why they’re nuts about it,” Watters wrapped up.
Fox News viewers took to social media to respond to Watters’ remarks, with many condemning the anchor. One person commented, “The excuses they arrive up for Trump, that they might never, ever, afford a Democratic President, are off the charts North Korean-style state TV propaganda.”
A second commenter declared, “Watters wants to be unemployed,” while a third weighed in, stating, “Watters is such an fool! I suppose he does not know every single factor Trump builds shall be either destroyed or modified so ‘the people’ get some benefit!”
