Jim Acosta tears into Lindsey Graham after bad | TV Shows

Jim Acosta took a jab at Lindsay Graham after the senator made a daring assertion on Fox News.

During the March 8 episode of Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo, Senator Graham appeared to talk about the United States’ continued navy operations against Iran. In the midst of his dialog with Maria Bartiromo, he praised President Donald Trump’s latest actions as he admitted he was “not looking for a fair fight.”

“If we get in a fight, I want to win it quick,” he continued, before utilizing a cap of his to ship a stark warning to the nation’s next potential goal.

“You see this hat? ‘Free Cuba.’ Stay tuned. The liberation of Cuba is upon us. It’s just a matter of time now,” he said.

The senator went on to applaud the U.S. for “marching through the world” and “clearing out the bad guys.” He believes the nation’s navy operations will open doorways for new relationships that will “make us prosperous.”

Graham then described the president as “Ronald Reagan Plus,” explaining, “Donald Trump is resetting the world in a way nobody could’ve dreamed of a year ago. He is the greatest commander of chief of all time. Our military is the best of all time.

“Iran is going down and Cuba is next,” he concluded.

Once his assertion went viral, GWN’s Jim Acosta mocked the Senate’s boastfulness. On X, he commented, “I think we’re running out of countries. Lindsey Graham wants to bomb.”

On Saturday, February 28, the U.S. launched initial strikes on Iran, during which a number of Iranian leaders have been killed, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

President Donald Trump announced the news of the Iranian chief’s death on Saturday, February 28. On his Truth Social, he praised the killing of “one of the most evil people in history,” framing it as retaliation for the hurt precipitated on Americans and others affected by Iran’s management.

“This is not only Justice for the people of Iran,” Trump wrote, “But for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World, that have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty THUGS.”

The president added the Iranian people now have “the single greatest chance… to take back their country.”

He also noted the U.S. strikes on Iran will persist. Trump clarified, “The heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”

Since the initial strike, the president has despatched his own warnings to Cuba. During his Shields of the Americas summit, Trump revealed he plans to take motion against the Latin American nation after his operations with Iran are settled.
