John F. Kennedy infamously engaged in a number of rumored affairs with other ladies during his marriage to Jackie Kennedy Onassis, but none was more notorious than the one he was alleged to have had with Marilyn Monroe.

The former president, who was assassinated in 1963 at the age of 46, was alleged to have cheated on his spouse for years with a number of ladies, most infamously the Hollywood actress and singer.

The allegations have been made in a 2013 guide, “In These Few Precious Days: The Final Year of Jack with Jackie,” by Christopher Andersen.

The guide largely examined the connection between the previous president and his spouse in the years before he was shot, and scrutinized his alleged affair.

At one level, Andersen alleged in the guide, Monroe called Jackie to let her know that JFK had promised to marry her.

However, the first girl allegedly had a excellent response to the declare.

“Marilyn, you’ll marry Jack, that’s great,” Jackie was said to have replied. “And you’ll move into the White House, and you’ll assume the responsibilities of the first lady. And I’ll move out, and you’ll have all the problems.”

The affair was the one that was alleged to have bothered Jackie more than the others, because of the risk of it going public and inflicting a scandal, though she was advantageous with others because she knew he would interact in them, since he was comparable to her own father.

“He’s like my father in a way,” she wrote in letters at the time. “Loves the chase and is bored with the conquest. And once married, he needs proof he’s still attractive, so he flirts with other women and resents you.”

Kennedy married his spouse in September 1953, and they remained married until his assassination 10 years later in November 1963.

Kennedy was shot and killed while in an open-top vehicle in Dallas, Texas. A bullet entered the back of his head after Lee Harvey Oswald fired from the sixth flooring of the Texas School Book Depository.

Kennedy died shortly after at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Five years after his death, Jackie married Greek transport inheritor Aristotle Onassis, and they remained married until his death in 1975.
