The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart delivered a blistering critique of President Donald Trump, labeling him America’s “Supreme Misleader” relating to the state of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure in the battle that began on Feb. 28.
During the Monday, March 23 episode of The Daily Show, Stewart lambasted Trump for the persevering with conflict, highlighting contradictory claims he has made about the nation and its nuclear program.
Following earlier criticism of the president and one of his most vocal followers, he proceeded to describe him as America’s “Supreme Misleader” due to his inconsistent remarks since authorizing navy motion in the Middle Eastern nation.
“Look, Donald Trump is without a doubt one of the most prodigious liars this country has ever produced. He’s our Supreme Misleader,” Stewart declared during his monologue.
“But the chaos this very actual war is creating is making us question even his reality-distorting powers. Let’s step back into the wayback machine. All the way back, I don’t know, June, when Israel and the United States first bombed Iran’s nuclear program,” studies the Irish Star.

Stewart proceeded to show a number of clips of Trump asserting at different instances that the June navy operations had destroyed the nation’s nuclear capabilities. “We wiped out the nuclear capability of Iran. Obliterated it,” he declared in one clip, before stating “it was obliterated like nobody’s ever seen before,” in another, and “I would say it’s set back permanently,
“That place is under a rock. That place is demolished,” and “They’re never gonna have nuclear,” in subsequent clips.
Stewart then emphasized the words “never, “permanently,” and “obliterated,” before cutting to footage of GWN’s Kaitlin Collins difficult the consistency of these claims, questioning how there could possibly be an “imminent threat” to the U.S. before the latest strikes.
“If you obliterated their nuclear sites last Summer with your strikes, then how can you argue it was an imminent threat now?” Collins requested in the clip.

“We hit them so hard we obliterated them–obliterated them, but that doesn’t mean with the right equipment you can’t dig down and go get it,” he responded.
Stewart reacted with specific frustration as he delivered his sharp critique.
“Actually, I think it’s exactly what it means. God d–n it. Motherf-r. It’s so annoying,” he exclaimed.
He retrieved a dictionary and studying glasses as he searched for the definition of “obliterating.”

“To obliterate: to destroy completely, leaving nothing behind,” he read aloud.
“There’s nothing in her about, ‘Well, we completely obliterated it, unless they have shovels.”
Throughout the show, Stewart has ceaselessly leveled important criticisms at the president, repeatedly utilizing his own statements as ammunition. This contains an occasion in February when he mocked the president’s grasp of geography while critiquing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, stating that “no one” understood it because it was in Spanish.
“I love that he thinks Bad Bunny is the one guy in the world that’s fluent in Spanish,” he commented then, imitating the president’s voice and jokingly including, “Nobody understands. It’s a dead language.”
