Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar’s upcoming rural horror movie Kaali Kheti has been postponed from its beforehand announced release date of October 23. The movie will now release in theatres on November 20, 2026.
The makers have also unveiled new character posters that includes Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar alongside the announcement of the revised release date. While the posters introduce the 2 actors in the movie’s rural setting, they reveal little about their respective characters or the bigger story.
Written and directed by Haris Imtiyaz Khan and produced by Sana Khan under the banner of BlackCanvas Studio, Kaali Kheti is set against a rural backdrop and revolves around themes of household, legacy and buried truths. The movie combines these components with a horror narrative.
The newly launched posters are anticipated to offer the first glimpse into the characters performed by Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar, while preserving their connection to the central thriller under wraps. The movie’s story seems to revolve around secrets and techniques buried within its rural setting, although the makers haven’t revealed many particulars about the plot yet.
