Kai Trump reacted on social media to Rory McIlroy’s spectacular Masters win despite choosing against him before the event.

Heading into the ultimate spherical, all eyes have been on McIlroy to see if he might pull off the historic win and turn into the fourth participant to win consecutive Masters tournaments. Despite Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley charging onerous Sunday, the star remained cool and calmly gained his second Green Jacket.

Now, Trump explained shared her ideas on the Northern Irishman’s accomplishment. It comes after her grandfather also despatched McIlroy a message after his spectacular win.

Speaking with the Mirror U.S. Sports, the star shared why she believed the LIV Golf star, with whom she shares an agent, could be sporting a Green Jacket by the end of the weekend. “I feel Bryson,” she said, adding that she didn’t know who Donald Trump, her grandfather, had backed.

DeChambeau didn’t make the cut at Augusta thanks to a disastrous outing, which saw him fall just below the cutline along with a handful of other stars. He elected not to speak to reporters after his display at Augusta.

For McIlroy, Sunday’s win marked the first time his parents were able to be in attendance as he put on the Green Jacket. He stated: “Incredible. It’s the second major win my Mom’s been at, second major win. She was at the U.S. Open win in 2014.

“There was a piece of them that didn’t wanna come this year, because they thought they didn’t come last year and maybe that was the reason.

“I’m so glad they received to expertise this today, we’re all going to have a good time tonight. He added that he was watching the leaderboard all afternoon, explaining: “I did [scoreboard watch]. I felt like I needed to, especially after the rough start.

“I needed to know where I used to be in the event, and after the sixth gap I used to be like, ‘OK, if I can get back to even par for the day, which I did with the birdies on 7 and 8, I knew I used to be going to be proper in there going into the back 9.’ I used to be preserving an eye all day.

“Yeah, thankfully there was a few guys that made a run but nothing like what Justin did last year with that 66. Some good play by me, and unfortunate the guys didn’t really come at me this year either.”
