Former Vice President Kamala Harris again hinted at the chance of her working for president again in a new interview.

Harris, 61, was talking with creator Sharon McMahon on Tuesday when she left the door open for a second run for the White House.

The ‘The Small and the Mighty’ creator during a live video call about the previous vice president’s lately launched memoir requested whether or not she determined on working again. Harris replied that she “might,” a response that was her most contemplative on the suggestion yet.

“Last question,” McMahon requested. “Everybody here wants to know the answer. Will you run again?”

“I haven’t decided,” Harris replied, before including, “I might.”

‘I’m not finished’

She beforehand told the BBC “I’m not done” last October in response to questions speculating about her future plans.

“I have lived my entire career a life of service and it’s in my bones,” the previous VP said. “There are many ways to serve.”

When requested about whether or not her grandnieces will see a feminine American president during their lifetime, Harris said, “yes” and it might “possibly” be her.

An Echelon Insights ballot launched Monday locations Harris at the top of Democratic contentders for the 2028 main, trailing only California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Another ballot by Focaldata launched earlier in February confirmed Harris main Newsom and at the top of every candidate, with 39% of assist. Newsom trailed with 21% and former transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was a distance third at 7%.

“The party is well overdue for a healthy, honest primary and I mean that in the most democratic sense, without party leaders putting their thumbs on the scales,” Nomiki Konst, a Democratic activist in New York City who supported Zohran Mamdani’s bid for mayor said.

She added that Democrats “need to understand that the country is seeking leadership and that they have an opportunity to advertise that they’re a diverse party with lots of ideas.”
