Keir Starmer was brutally criticised on TalkTV by Rupert Lowe after he announced on Sunday that the UK would formally recognise the State of Palestine. The UK is becoming a member of more than 150 nations in a transfer meant to protect prospects for peace between Israelis and Palestinians. On TalkTV, Rupert Lowe MP waded in on the Prime Minister and delivered a scathing verdict. He argued to Kevin O’Sullivan: “I honestly know that Starmer and the Labour Party have this fixation with Islam. Labour relies on these Islamic votes. […] Starmer is a Pabloist human rights lawyer who is completely unfit to run the country. He is a member of the most communist arm of one of these societies.”

“And I’ve another message for you – it is not going to occur. There will probably be no Palestinian state to the west of the Jordan River.”
Other nations such as Belgium, France, and Portugal are expected to recognise Palestinian statehood at the summit this week, as Australia and Canada already did alongside the UK last Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Amir Ohana, speaker of the Knesset, Israel‘s parliament, described Sir Keir a “modern-day appeaser who selected dishonour.”
