GB News commentator Winston Davis has slammed Prime Minister Keir Starmer, saying he isn’t a deal maker and the UK has to observe the US’s lead on Ukraine.
His remarks got here as Starmer met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy prematurely of a key summit on the warfare with Russia on Sunday, with a number of European leaders heading to the capital for the crunch talks.
During the assembly, which adopted Zelenskyy’s conflict with US President Donald Trump Starmer informed him he had “full backing across the United Kingdom and we stand with Ukraine for as long as it may take”.
“Despite what we think of Trump, I think that his strength and understanding deals, and he kept saying deal deal, because there is a deal to be had and deal to be done,” Davis remarked.
“And actually, when you talk about Starmer, he’s not a deal maker necessarily. Yeah, he’s a law keeper. He understands the CPS and how the criminal justice system work. But in terms of understanding people…
“I feel that Starmer is just not in a place we’re not in a place to be calling the photographs, as a result of we won’t get it (Ukarainian peace deal) finished.”
