The divorce reached its conclusion in 2022. In the settlement terms, Clarkson was obligated to give Blackstock a one-time payment of $1.3 million and agreed to regular child support payments of $45,601 per month.

Additionally, she paid spousal support amounting to $115,000 monthly, which ceased in January 2024.

Following this period of transition, Kelly announced the launch of her own record label just a year later, marking the first occasion she would be releasing new music independently in her storied career.
