Kristi Noem cant escape South Park ridicule in | TV Shows

Kristi Noem has been mercilessly mocked online after her latest Instagram post was hijacked by followers posting countless gifs and memes from a brutal new episode of South Park.

The Homeland Security Secretary used the post to reward ICE officers, writing, “Our courageous ICE law enforcement officers are now going through a 1000% increase in assaults against them as they risk their lives to arrest the worst of the worst felony unlawful aliens.

These acts of violence are fueled by sanctuary politicians’ rhetoric vilifying our law enforcement. We is not going to and haven’t let this violence stop us or slow us down.

“Every day, our law enforcement continues to enforce the law and arrest the most depraved criminals, including pedophiles, terrorists, murderers, gang members, and inappropriate predators.”

But many ignored her message, instead flooding the comments with references to Wednesday night’s episode of the new South Park season, which saw creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone skewer Noem in cartoon form.

She admitted she hadn’t actually watched the episode, which portrayed her as a glammed-up ICE agent obsessed with Botox, killing puppies, and arresting anyone who is Hispanic. Noem said she was too busy “going over budget numbers and stuff.”

The controversy comes after the White House recently dismissed South Park as “irrelevant” and accused Parker and Stone of desperately seeking attention following a string of episodes roasting Donald Trump and his administration.

Adding another twist, Homeland Security used an image from the show the day before the Noem episode aired to promote ICE recruitment.

“We want to thank ‘South Park’ for drawing attention to ICE law enforcement recruitment: We are calling on patriotic Americans to help us remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and other violent criminals from our country,” a assertion from the company said.

“Benefits available to new ICE recruits include an up to $50,000 signing bonus, student loan forgiveness, and retirement benefits.”
