On the latest episode of her “Are you a Charlotte?” podcast, Kristin Davis claimed that Sarah Jessica Parker confronted her about her physique image points when they had been filming “intimacy and the City.”
“There were times when Sarah Jessica would be like, ‘You have body dysmorphia,’ ” Davis, 60, told visitor Benito Skinner.

“I’d be like, ‘I don’t think I do,’ because the world is literally telling me daily that I am pear-shaped,” Davis continued. “So much to the point where you can’t think straight.”
The “And Just Like That” star added that the discuss about her physique at the time led to her having “disordered eating.”

“You’re starving yourself. I remember fainting in a parking lot one time, because I was on some crazy diet,” she recalled.

“There was a good number of years when we were on the old school, in your televisions, HBO proper, and when people would see me on the street here or in New York, they would say, ‘Oh, but you’re not fat,’ ” Davis said.
“I know they didn’t mean anything bad. They mean it as a compliment,” she told Skinner. “But it’s because I’m standing next to Sarah Jessica.”

Davis and Parker, 60, starred on “intimacy and the City” with Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall from 1998 to 2004. The stars, besides Cattrall, returned for the sequel sequence “And Just Like That” which is ending on Thursday after three seasons.

Before “SATC,” Davis performed Brooke Armstrong on “Melrose Place” and equally dealt with physique image points during that time.
In February, Davis revealed that she was told not to gain weight when she was on the Fox cleaning soap opera.

“There was a general vibe on the set though, that was difficult, about the thinness situation,” she told People, including, “Every single person was gorgeous and super skinny. So I was like, ‘This is what I have to do.’ ”
Davis said that she employed a operating coach and did back-to-back 90-minute spin lessons to look a sure method.
“I was frustrated. I was trying to do the thing,” she shared. “Of course, I’m sure I wasn’t eating, I have no idea. I don’t remember the eating part.”
