Los Angeles prosecutors are reviewing the case of Kiefer Sutherland after the actor was accused of assaulting a ride-share driver in Hollywood earlier this month.
The LA County District Attorney’s Office told NBC4 that it has been introduced with the case for potential prison expenses against the “24” star.

It’s not immediately clear how long the DA’s workplace has to full the review.
Sutherland, 59, told cops he called for an Uber Black after having dinner with a good friend on the night of Jan. 11 and requested the driving force to take him home.

At some level during the journey, Sutherland requested the driving force to pull over and let him out, according to the driving force. Sutherland then threatened to kill him if he didn’t pull over.
The driver then called 911 around 12:15 a.m. and told police he was assaulted by Sutherland close to Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue.
